Mercedes Unimog isn’t very known vehicle produced by Merecedes. We used to look at Mercedes’ vehicles as something luxurious and fast. But you’ve already seen light commercial vehicles as Sprinter. But Mercedes offers something heavier, a truck called Unimog.

UNIMOG 500 BRABUS TUNING
But let’s take a look at the Brabus’ version. The first blush shows a high cabin with little trailer, high undercarriage standing on big wheels and distinctive safety bars. Brabus had decided to paint it with black color (Black color is typical for Brabus and it’s also color of elegance), so it named it as Black Edition.

No only the exterior, but also inside the cabin we can find nice changes. Carbon is used on doorknobs, holders, central console and dashboard. Alcantara leather is very attractive and it’s used not only roof and pillars, but also black and white seats. A black steering-wheel and sporting aluminum pedals are necessity.
Music enthusiasts should be happy. This little truck offers not only a hi-fi audio and Command system (from Mercedes S-klasse) with 6,5“ LCD. There’s a satellite navigation, radio and CD changer. As this vehicle has no fear in a muddy terrain, there’s also a special compass. No need to worry about surrounding climate condition – the vehicle is air-conditioned.
But what’s under the hood? There’s a 6.4 liter diesel engine producing 280hp. The transmission can be controlled manually or in automatic mode either. The engine’s torque is very impressive – 1100Nm. Its top speed is only 120kmph, but you should remember that this isn’t some pseudo off-road like many of today’s SUVs. This is a real hard-worker and in this case is the top speed great for a truck.
Unimog 500 Black Edition Brabus Tuning:
The wheels are really big – 455/70 R24 tires with controlled air pressure. With those wheels you have no obstacles. It’s really great for a hard terrain and it’s up to its owner if he wants to pull something with a rope and hook or fully load it. But this is also a tuning machine, so you can have also some nice audio system and go-go dancers on the trailer. What do you think?:)
