One of these motivational impulse were great ovations of visitors of last year’s SEMA 2006 motor show in Las Vegas, where Ford brought the version of F-150 called Project FX2 Sport. It was a custom modified vehicle made in cooperation of sporting division Ford Racing Performance Parts and automotive journalists from Texas.
This presentation was very successful especially for its great design that amazingly improved visage of the popular pickup and its typical chassis with a charming aggressive look.
The success of FX2 Sport was enough convincing to come with a sporting version to the F150’s range to beat also the most powerful V8 version producing 300hp.

So now the engine is producing 450hp and 670Nm of torque transferred to the rear wheels by its 4-speed automatic transmission and limited slip differential. The turbo kit Saleen is available for the Ford F-150’s owners for about $6500.
