Lancia – maybe the least known Italian manufacturer of near-luxury cars outside West European countries. The smallest vehicle produced by Lancia is Lancia Ypsilon and this is the today’s target of an Italian tuner Momo Design.
This is a reunion of two legendary companies. The car with a great design, nice dynamics was born. But it’s still a very elegant vehicle that should stand out of the mass.
The car is particularly designed for a city jungle so it has stronger brakes. Its undercarriage was also changed, it was replaced with a sportier one and the car is now closer to the road. Of course, now you can enjoy bigger rims – 16“ alloys.
And about the engines – MomoDesign chose a 1.3 Multijet 16V and 1,4 16V.
The petrol version 1.4 16V has a 6-speed transmission and its maximum output is 95hp.

The 1.3 Multijet 16V offers 105hp at 4000rpm and 200Nm at 1750rpm. This engine is controlled with a 5-speed transmission. It can accelerate to 100kmph in 10.5 seconds and reach 177kmph. Also its fuel economy is very nice – only 4.7 liters per 100kms.
In the end, Momo Design changed to styling and into the interior. A potential customer can choose and combine from 15 available colors, but maybe the most known will be the yellow-black combination.
