Porsche Cayenne tuned as Techart Magnum

The big attention of many visitors of the last year’s Motor Show Essen was paid in a stall of Techart where could be found a beautiful Carrera, but also a scary Cayenne called Magnum Cocncept. It’s a design kit with an extremely aggressive look. Its modification includes a visual transformation achieved thanks to new, wider fenders extensions to wider the body for 80mm. So now it’s possible to install gigantic 10x22 rims with tires 295/30 ZR 22. The tires can handle speed at 300kmph. Also there’s a new and dominant front bumper with nice openings for air-intake and with distance and fog lights. The hood is also new with distinctive ribs for air off-take. Wide sill extensions perfectly match with bumper’s hems, same as the new rear bumper. In this part we can find cut-outs for a pair of new exhaust tips. So that’s all.

Techart doesn’t offer only a great look, but also some performance modifications. In this case they’re not amazing, it’s all about some ECU re-programming in both of V8 editions. But now they’re testing their own complete with big turbochargers and bigger intercooler, different inlet tube and of course with a brand-new exhaust system. Their goal is 600 hp and 850 Nm. The only modification of the almost perfect pneumatic suspension is an additional ECU to change the car’s ground clearance for about 130 mm.

The Techart company is an exclusive tuning company focused only on Porsche for 18 years. In the late 80’s they came with complete kits for various models of the brand, such as CT3 based on 933 Carrera. Since 1995, the company is a holder of the WMI (World Manufacturer Identifier) number that defines it as an official car manufacturer. Of course all their products are certified and homologized in EU and meet the standards of the German TÜV (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein) and DEKRA (Deutscher Kraftfahrzeug-Überwachungsverein). Nowadays, Techart has purchasers and customers all over the world, including almost all official Porsche showrooms on all five continents. The company is based nearby Stuttgart, in a town Leonberg, where 50 employees produce and tune more than 600 vehicles per year on the area with more than 5000 sq meters.
