Seat Leon Interceptor II modified by Xeigen Tuning

Company Xeigen has again distinguished itself. It has drawn a bead on the first generation Seat Leon. This modified jewel was also presented on the Tuning show 2006 in Paris. And what makes this car so exceptional?

The first generation Seat Leon 1M directly from the plant:

The first generation Seat Leon belongs to the cars of mid-size category. Its dimensions (4184 mm x 1742 mm x 1457 mm) could be characterized as mid-size dimensions as well. Although this car is maybe a compact car, but its most powerful model labeled “Leon 20VT” could be compared in power and speed performance with the cars of the higher category.

Engine capacity:1781 ccm
Maximum output:132 kW provided near 5500 rpm
Maximum torque: 235 Nm / 2000 – 4500 rpm
Maximum speed:224 kph
0-100kmph acceleration: 7,8 sec

Of course, great output goes along with safety. Nothing was left to chance by the producers and their Seat Leon passed the safety tests very well. And if we also add to all mentioned the sporting steering wheel in “series”, Seat Leon is really a good candidate for tuning.

Seat Leon under the wings of Xeigen

As I have mentioned at the beginning, the Xeigen foreman was really particular about tuning. This car joints fluent features and extreme body-kit in it, and this all is also emphasized by the colored combination.

Seat Leon interceptor
The front bumper, connected with the front grille, contains one big central and two side air intake scoops (replete by black metal), which give the car a rough design, emphasized also by the front headlights’ shields. The Seat emblem has also disappeared from the front part and it has been replaced by the plastic lattice.

Everybody will surely notice the expanded splash-boards at the side of the car, which knot on the aerodynamic side skirts. These side skirts have an opening in their rear part, which takes care of safety by blowing air into the rear disc break system. The splash-boards extension reaching for the rear part continuously knots on the huge rear bumper. There are “duplex” exhaust system endings swaggering over the right and the left side of the bumper.

The place around the exhaust silencers is naturally filled with black metal. There is a smart and effective diffuser in the centre of the bottom side of the rear bumper. The central part of the bumper is adapted for the license plate emplacement.

When we have already begun to talk about the rear part, have you noticed any other changes? …yes, exactly, the back-up lights were replaced by the more and more popular – LED diodes.

Black tinted glass has already become an obvious part of a tuning car. And I have to admit that they have succed in combining it with the color of the car body. The car is lacquered in two colors: in black (bonnet, roof and roof wing) and in orange-red color (the rest of the body).

The car is connected with the ground by 10-spoke chrome wheel discs with low-profile tires. Chrome, which I have mentioned by the discs, could be also found on the side view mirrors.

There are also other complements as for example: the vinyl on the hood titled Carbon and the windscreen shade titled Black Sid.
