But we won’t talk here about its stock version, we‘ll take a closer look at the tuning version by a reputable JE Design. As we know, this company is a famous producer of spoilers and rims especially for Seat’s vehicles and Seat recognizes the company as the most important tuning company for the brand. The stock Toledo looks great (no doubts that Seat is an owner of many important design awards), so there was no need to use excessive tuning modifications. So what are changes on this car? There are new front and rear spoilers, side sills extensions, rear roof wing and 4-pipe exhaust tip. This all is a very nice piece of solid work. Everything is mastered with 17“-19“ rims and lowered suspension enhancing the sporting feeling.

Seat Toledo has a basic 1.9 TDI engine producing 77 kW (105hp) and 250Nm of torque. After JE Design improvements, it’s capable of 103kW (140hp) and 320Nm.
Next option is a stock 2.0 TDI producing 103hp (140kW). Of course, the JE Design guys can boost this aggregate to 130kW (176hp) and monumental 405Nm. To reach these values, some modifications of exhaust system are necessary. Take a look at rear bumper with cut-outs for air off-take and 90mm exhaust cannons. JE Design guarantee this power boost for 2 years, a 1-year warranty is for the engine and sporting suspension.

The JE Design company is focused on developing, producing and distribution of tuning parts for AUDI, Seat, and VW brands. Their main business strategy is based on design aerodynamic exterior improvements as spoilers and plastics. These products are made of PU RIM or ABS-plastics. Of course all their products are certified and homologized in EU and meet the standards of the German TÜV (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein) and DEKRA (Deutscher Kraftfahrzeug-Überwachungsverein). Thanks to their high-quality products and using of CAD-CAM technology during their development, JE Design has started development of aerodynamic products for other known tuners on the market.

The company was founded in 1990 by Mr. Jochen Eckelt in Heilnorn, Germany. They made only VW components by the year 1994. Audi was included in 1995 and Seat in 1996. In 1997, JE Design moved to Heilbronn-Horkheim, a nearby town, because the demand was rising and there was need to built new business premises. In the year 1998 at ESSEN Motor Show, JE Design introduced for the first time their own developed light-alloy rim called VISAGE.
