VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT STILL IN DEMAND

Try to find someone who doesn’t know the world-famous VW Passat of 4th generation. A big car looks heavy and massive with a simple design but all the more stylish and luxurious. Not so many years have passed since its first model was produced and this car is still very popular. Undoubtedly it’s not only for a precise exterior but also for its great engines. VW should be proud.
The car is driven by the most powerful engine in this model – a might 2,8 liter V6. Its maximum output is 193 hp at 6000 rpm, a maximum speed is 238 kmph and 0-100 acceleration takes 7.8 seconds. Very nice values if we realize that this car is 10 years old.

VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT TUNED BY RIEGER

We’re used to see impressive modifications by Rieger. Guys from this company have no fear and they want to create something extraordinary that can’t be missed. But it’s nothing thoughtless or wild. A great respect, greater sense and greatest will – these are characteristics of Rieger.
Its newest “baby“ is this VW Passat in the form of complete bodywork. This bodywork consists of extensions under front and rear bumper, sills, front grill, rims, eyebrows, rear wing, optical roof extension, door back mirrors and exhaust tips. Quite a big change, so let’s take a closer look.
The front part was simply, but fancy changed by the new extension under the front bumper.
This extension matches with the front bumper and its openings. The extension has also three elongated openings filled with a black perforated sheet. These openings are used like a decor and help to cool down engine parts.

The chromed front grill without a VW symbol matches perfectly with that front extension. By the way, a chrome is used everywhere: a front grill, side door moldings, door back mirrors, window hems etc. The eyebrows of headlights create an aggressive look and make-up whole style of the front hood.

The side of the car is specific with the new sill extensions. Their typical for its design manufacturing and also safeness (openings filled with perforated sheets at the end of them used for an air-intake to rear brakes). The sill extensions are an important part of the car’s sporting feeling as well as the door back mirrors made in a “teardrop“ style.
And now, let’s move to the rear part. The first and most notable change is the extension under the rear bumper. It’s quite massive with three big openings. The central one is typical with slash curves and provisional diffuser. Other two are used for custom exhaust tips. This spoiler is very sophisticated and shows how parts on stylish cars should look like. Geiger have also mounted a decent wing – the proof of the beauty of simplicity. The last element in the rear part is the plastic part mounted on a rear window used for an optical extension.
The final step is wheels. Rieger offers three types of rims for its customers. In the first case you can have 19“ chromed 5-spoked SMC Design SV rims suitable for show-cars. Secondly, 18“ 10-spoked Tomason TN1 rims are available. And finally, 19“ 15-spoked ASA ZR1 can be mounted on this German beauty. It’s only up to you.
